Kristen Stewart used to vomit ‘every day’ because she was so panicked by fame.
The 26-year-old actress – who shot into the limelight in 2008 when she starred as Bella Swan in the hit vampire franchise Twilight – has admitted she struggled to deal with fame so much so she constantly had a stomach ache.
She explained: ‘I went through so much stress. I had panic attacks, I used to puke every day and very casually, too,’ the star said in her cover interview for Elle magazine’s September issue, out now.

Kristen Stewart has rather a split personality when it comes to clothes, she’s either super causal in her jeans and sweatshirts when she’s off-duty, or looking super glam dressed to the nines for red carpet events and photoshoots.
For her appearance in the latest issue of Elle it was the latter, with Kristen looking very glamorous in a photoshoot accompanying her tell-all interview
As a Chanel ambassador we weren’t surprised to see Kristen Stewart rocking the brand in the shoot, including in this shot where she wears a look from the French fashion house’s Fall 2016 ready-to-wear collection.
We love this look on Kristen which has all the hallmarks of a Chanel design with its monochrome colorway and pearl necklaces.

‘I didn’t have an eating disorder; it wasn’t to do with that. I always had a stomach ache. And I was a control freak.
‘I couldn’t anticipate what was going to happen in a given situation, so I’d be like, “Maybe I’m going to get sick” and then I’d be sick.’
And it wasn’t just her battle with anxiety that was taking over her life as the brunette-turned-blonde beauty was also desperately trying to curb her fight against obsessive compulsive disorder.
She explained: ‘As I am getting older I’m going into my OCD. If things are a mess, I feel like I have lost everything. So I procrastinate by tidying, which is so stupid.

‘I say to myself, “Just do what you need to do. If you want to write something, if you need to get a thought out, if you need to call someone about something creative, do it now! You don’t need to organise your desk first.”‘
And, although she still gets short bursts of uneasiness, Kristen has learnt to deal with her mental health issues and focus on the things that are thrown at her one day at a time.
The Cafe Society star said: ‘I changed, that’s the thing – at a certain time point I realised that the fear was death, but I had gone through so much that did not kill me… sorry, I know that sounds dramatic … I realise the anxiety just ran out. I didn’t have the energy to do that anymore.’

And she dished her life also changed when she started a relationship with Special effects producer Alicia Cargile.
Kristen, who famously dated her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson from 2008 to 2014, added: ‘Right now I’m just really in love with my girlfriend.
‘We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, “Finally, I can feel again.” ‘
