Janet is very unhappy with how she lives her life every day. Intrusive thoughts about germs overwhelm her throughout the day. She finds herself constantly washing her hands throughout the day. At work she is fearful that she will make mistakes or say the wrong thing. She constantly rejects her work as being inadequate. At nighttime, she is unable to fall asleep due to intrusive thoughts about the next day.
